Alabama requires an in-person visit once telehealth care for the same condition passes four visits in 12 months without resolution.
What's specific to Alabama
These are Alabama's rules on prescribing through telehealth in general. They are not rules about NAD+, sermorelin, peptides or any other single treatment.
- Telehealth prescribing: Alabama lets a physician form the patient relationship by telehealth without a prior in-person exam. If a physician or practice treats the same patient for the same condition by telehealth more than four times in 12 months without resolution, the patient must be seen in person, or referred to a physician who can see them, within 12 months.
